Duties, Roles & Responsibilities of an Executive Protection Officer:

·         Provide close protection and maintain continuous awareness of the principal’s security environment.

·         Conduct threat and risk assessments before assignments, movements, meetings, and public engagements.

·         Plan secure movements, travel routes, arrival/departure arrangements, and alternative routes where necessary.

·         Conduct advance security checks of venues, meeting locations, hotels, residences, and event areas when required.

·         Monitor surroundings and identify suspicious personnel, activities, behavior, or potential security threats.

·         Control and manage access to the principle and prevent unauthorized approaches.

·         Escort the Principal safely during local and international travel, business meetings, public appearances, and official visits.

·         Coordinate with venue security, drivers, local law enforcement, event organizers, and other relevant stakeholders when required.

·         Respond quickly and appropriately to security incidents, emergencies, evacuation requirements, or medical situations.

·         Maintain strict confidentiality regarding the principal’s personal, professional, travel, and business-related information.

·         Prepare and maintain daily activity reports, incident reports, and relevant security observations.

·         Follow approved security procedures, client instructions, company policies, and assignment-specific requirements.

·         Demonstrate professional conduct, discretion, courtesy, discipline, integrity, and respect toward the principal and others.
