A Bodyguard,
also known as an Executive Protection Officer, is a highly trained
security professional responsible for protecting an individual (known as the
Principal) from potential threats, physical harm, harassment, or other security
risks. Bodyguards ensure the safety, privacy, and smooth movement of the Principal
during daily activities, business meetings, public appearances, official
visits, and travel.
Duties, Roles & Responsibilities of a Bodyguard

Provide
close protection to the Principal at all times.

Conduct
threat and risk assessments before assignments and movements.
·
Escort
the Principal safely during travel, meetings, and public events.
·
Maintain
constant vigilance and identify potential security threats.
·
Control
access to the Principal and prevent unauthorized approaches.
·
Plan
safe travel routes and identify alternative evacuation routes when necessary.
·
Coordinate
with local law enforcement, venue security, and other stakeholders when
required.
·
Respond
quickly and effectively to emergencies, security incidents, or medical
situations.
·
Maintain
confidentiality regarding the Principal’s personal and professional matters.
·
Prepare
daily activity and incident reports and promptly report any security concerns.
·
Ensure
that all security procedures comply with company policies and client
requirements.
