Cleaner

A Cleaner is a facility service professional responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation in offices, commercial buildings, residential complexes, industrial facilities, and other client premises. Cleaners play an essential role in creating a safe, healthy, and pleasant environment by ensuring that all assigned areas are kept clean, organized, and well-maintained in accordance with the client’s standards and hygiene requirements.

Key Duties and Responsibilities: 

·         Clean offices, workstations, meeting rooms, corridors, washrooms, staircases, and other assigned areas.

·         Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize floors, furniture, equipment, and common areas.

·         Clean and disinfect toilets, wash basins, mirrors, and washroom accessories regularly.

·         Collect, segregate, and dispose of waste in accordance with client procedures and environmental guidelines.

·         Replenish cleaning supplies and washroom consumables such as tissue paper, soap, and hand sanitizer.

·         Maintain cleanliness of windows, glass partitions, doors, and other visible surfaces where assigned.

·         Report maintenance issues, damages, or unsafe conditions to the supervisor promptly.

·         Handle cleaning chemicals, tools, and equipment safely and in accordance with safety procedures.

·         Follow client policies, workplace hygiene standards, and health and safety regulations at all times.

·         Respond promptly to emergency cleaning requirements such as spills, leaks, or special cleaning requests.

·         Maintain a professional appearance, discipline, honesty, and courteous behavior while on duty.

·         Perform any other cleaning or housekeeping duties assigned by the supervisor or client management.
